For one glorious week, the streets fill with food lovers, live music, cold drinks, and some of the best tapas you’ll eat all year. 🌊 A Festival with Deep Roots 🌊 The Ruta del Atún began as a way to celebrate Zahara’s centuries-old connection to tuna fishing, especially the ancient almadraba technique, a sustainable method dating back to Phoenician times. What started as a local food trail has grown into a full-blown festival, attracting chefs, creatives, and visitors from all over Spain. Each year, nearly 50 bars and restaurants compete to create the most inventive tuna tapa, with prizes awarded at the end of the day 🐟 🐠 🐡 🎣🏆
